At the branch of the «Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant», the Joint-Stock Company «United Chemical Company» «Uralchem», the production of calcium nitrate has switched to domestic packaging.
Due to the unavailability of the previously used film for small containers, 25 kg bags, they selected a new manufacturer – Kamsky Plant of Polymeric Materials («KZPM»). Their products passed all tests and trials, they meet the production requirements. Due to this, there was no need to reconfigure the packaging equipment and retrain employees. The stretch hood – a film sleeve for palletizing cargo – was also replaced. It is necessary for reliable fixation of bags on the pallet. The company retained the ability to quickly pack and send calcium nitrate to consumers.
«Now calcium nitrate is a product completely made in Russia, from the contents to the shell. We constantly monitor the quality of the packaging of our fertilizers. In connection with the transition to film from new suppliers, the control is especially serious. We receive feedback from consumers, analyze it and take their recommendations into account,» said Nadezhda Turusheva, Head of Finished Products Shipping Department of the «Kirovo-Chepetsk Chemical Plant» branch of the Joint-Stock Company «United Chemical Company» «Uralchem».
